What to bring

A crate or carrier
The safest way for a puppy to ride in the car.
A towel or blanket
For the crate, and for any little accidents.
A collar and leash
A small, light one. Puppies grow fast.
A helper
If you can, bring someone to sit with the puppy while you drive.

The drive home

French Bulldogs overheat easily. Keep the car cool, and never leave your puppy alone in a parked car, even for a few minutes. On a longer drive, stop for short breaks, but keep your puppy away from other dogs at rest stops until their shots are done.

The first 10 days

Take your puppy to your own vet within 10 days of bringing them home. That visit keeps our health guarantee in place. Read the health guarantee.
